Liberal Arts & Professional Programs
Liberal arts
Most employers seek people with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and team-building skills that a liberal arts education provides. No matter what your major at Nazareth, you’ll be exposed to a liberal arts core curriculum of philosophy, the arts, math, science, foreign languages, and writing. These classes give you a strong foundation for learning that is infused in everything you’ll do.
Additionally, some programs combine subjects for an interdisciplinary approach:
- The American studies major looks at the development of American civilization through a multifaceted lens, choosing courses in the humanities, fine arts, and natural and social sciences.
- International business students gain the cultural competency, communication, and reasoning skills to make meaningful contributions to the worldwide marketplace.
- The honors program lecture series brings prominent speakers who speak on topics from “Growing Up Female with the Mass Media” to “The History of Scientific Thought.”
