These classes give you a strong foundation for learning that is infused in everything you’ll do.

Additionally, some programs combine subjects for an interdisciplinary approach:

• The American studies major looks at the development of American civilization through a multifaceted lens, choosing courses in the humanities, fine arts, and natural and social sciences.
• International business students gain the cultural competency, communication, and reasoning skills to make meaningful contributions to the worldwide marketplace.
• The honors program lecture series brings prominent speakers who speak on topics from “Growing Up Female with the Mass Media” to “The History of Scientific Thought.”

• Speech and physical therapy clinics on campus, like the Aphasia Clinic, allow students to observe professionals and have the opportunity to work with real clients early on in the curriculum.
• Management students gain firsthand experience and hone their organizational and people skills through local and out-of-state internships.
