When you enroll at Nazareth, you have access to professors and staff members who genuinely enjoy giving their time and guidance. Our 152 full-time faculty members—94 percent of whom hold a Ph.D. or the highest degree in their field—haven’t stopped going to school either. They turn to Nazareth’s Center for Teaching Excellence, one of the few centers in the country dedicated to innovative teaching, for ideas and resources to take your learning to a higher level.

How we measure up

One of the best measures of a college is its graduates.

• Fulbright awards have been earned by 18 of our graduating seniors since 1990, placing Nazareth among the ranks of the country’s most prestigious colleges and universities. Scholars from Nazareth have studied and taught in Argentina, Egypt, France, India, New Zealand, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and many other countries.
• Two graduates have won the Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowships toward graduate study; these are awarded to only 20 students nationwide a year.
• For nine years in a row, Nazareth students have received Kepner Scholarship Awards, which reward excellence in technical communication.
• Nazareth graduates in physical therapy, nursing, creative arts therapy, and communication sciences and disorders enjoy a 100 percent placement rate.
• The job placement rate for social work students is 95 percent.
• 95 percent of our graduates are working or in graduate school within one year of receiving their degree; 89 percent report their jobs are related to their majors. Within five years of graduation, close to two-thirds are pursuing or have earned advanced degrees.
