Nazareth College has received the distinction of earning both an individual gold medal and an overall category grand gold in the 2009 Circle of Excellence Awards from The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The Nazareth web and alumni relations teams collaborated with Wall to Wall Studios, a creative firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., to produce the award-winning Flight of the Flyers website (www.flightoftheflyers.com). The CASE Circle of Excellence awards are higher education advancement’s premier international awards.
CASE awarded Nazareth the individual gold medal in the alumni relations category for creative use of technology and new media. Ninety-four entries were judged from colleges and universities nationwide. Nazareth then rose to the top of 126 entries in the alumni relations category to receive the only grand gold award. The Flight of the Flyers website entry will be displayed during CASE’s upcoming Summit for Advancement Leaders in San Francisco in mid-July. It will also be posted on the CASE website later this year as a model program for other CASE members to view and assess.
