Immersing yourself in another language and culture in one of the best ways to understand a different country. No matter what your major, studying abroad gives you an edge when it's time to apply to graduate school or enter the work force.

Nazareth study abroad programs scatter the globe. If you want to study in a location where there isn't an established program, we'll work with you to make it possible. Residential Programs

Become proficient in a foreign language, take a wide variety of courses, participate in professional internships, and grow from the multicultural experience of studying abroad. One of our longest-running and most well-established programs is "Nazareth in Berlin," a fall semester program with humanities courses, professional internships, and language learning. Students live with English speaking families and experience life in the heart of the European Union. The College sponsors residential programs in France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Exchange Programs

Don't limit yourself because you don't speak a second language. Students from any major can opt for an exchange program that allows them to visit a foreign country while continuing with English language classes. For example, you can study at one of three universities in Hungary, with classes offered in both Hungarian and English. And an intensive language course is offered every winter if you wish to learn the language. Programs are offered in Australia, Chile, France, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Peru, The United Kingdom, and Wales.

Short-term Programs

Satisfy your travel bug over spring break or summer vacation. Fans of archaeology, history, and religion got in touch with their inner Indiana Jones in Bethsaida over the summer, where they assisted excavators at the ancient city and visited pilgrimage and archaeological sites. Short-term programs are available in Ireland, Israel, Kenya, Italy, and Spain.

The Fulbright Scorecard

Nazareth is committed to supporting students and faculty interested in applying for Fulbright awards, a program that offers opportunities to undertake international graduate student, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide. Since 1990 Nazareth Fulbrighters have been granted awards to Argentina, Australia, Honduras, South Korea, Yemen, and many other countries. Since 1999...
