Josh Horowitz '00 Gets Animated

How did Josh Horowitz know an animation spot he created for the New York Knicks was a success? When it was broadcast on the giant scoreboard at Madison Square Garden, the players clapped their approval.

As a freelancer, Josh directs, produces, writes, and animates spots that air regularly on Nickelodeon and TV Land. He's also animated a music video and supervised a photo shoot for a modern-design furniture company. His work has earned him three Broadcast Design Awards, the electronic media industry's top honor for broadcast designers.

He praises his Nazareth professors for teaching him how to create and critique ideas. "It always seemed farfetched to get a job doing this," he said, "and it's not."
